Job summary
Our client design and manufacture precision, machined components for the aerospace industry and are currently recruiting for an administrator to join their team. As an Administrator you will provide overall administrative duties to the purchasing and despatch department functions within the business.Hours of work will be Days (Monday to Friday)
Reporting directly to the Logistics / Export Compliance Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
* The preparation of export documentation (Commercial invoice, packing lists)
* Issuing of job cards - planning operation workflow
* Issue of cards for the supply of material to support operations start on time
* Overall administrative support for the business : booking in stock, issuing out, keeping stock records up to date, scanning, filing and archiving of records etc
* The raising of paperwork to support the sub-con department when required
* Manage export scheduling to customer requirements
* Liaise with logistics and transportation providers
* Review of customer order information
To be successful in the role of Administrator, you will hold the following skills and experience;
* Experience of working as an administrator within a busy, fast moving environment
* Experience of the aerospace industry
* Excellent communicative skills both written and verbal
* Comfortable working with and assisting customers and assisting in a professional manner
* Good working knowledge of MS Office
* ERP expertise will be advantageous
* Flexible approach to working hours
This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
Salary up to £27,000 per annum
