MacArthur Recruitment is looking for two experienced Quantity Surveyors to work with two dedicated and ambitious teams, working on cutting-edge projects within the Nuclear sector. The level of experience you have to be considered for the role is flexible.

In this key role, you will be required to channel your substantial Quantity Surveying experience into an exciting new opportunity either in a Civils environment, or an MEICA environment, where you'll be instrumental in shaping the trajectory of our clients projects. You will be required to gain clearance for this role Baseline and / or P4.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities for the role of Quantity Surveyor :

* Lead and guide a commercial/project team in all project-related commercial actions and tasks.

* Foster effective communication across the commercial team to ensure seamless project operations.

* Take charge of subcontract management for the projects, providing expert oversight.

* Execute daily commercial administration and associated duties efficiently.

* Ensure the management of project commercial documentation to guarantee accuracy and completeness.

* Assure accurate and timely communication and reporting of data to all stakeholders.

* Proactively identify and address existing or potential issues, working closely with the Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor.

* Uphold compliance with approved processes, procedures, and project executive plans.

* Play a pivotal role in advancing the functional quality and performance of Quantity Surveying through proactive contributions.

Experience and skills required for the role of Quantity Surveyor :

* Extensive prior experience within a project commercial team, showcasing a strong track record.

* Profound knowledge and experience in managing subcontracts.

* Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a related subject, or equivalent experience.

* Excellent knowledge of commercial aspects pertaining to civil and infrastructure projects.

* Proficiency in working with a Contract Management System (CEMAR or similar).

* Possession of (or eligibility for) UK Nuclear industry clearance is essential.

* Chartered member of a recognized organization (RICS or CIOB) would be advantageous.
