Job summary

Role: Lead Document Controller
People Group is currently in the process of hiring a Lead Document Controller to manage and oversee all Documentation, the Organisation of blueprints, and Information Management for a 2-year, large-scale Construction project located In Cambridge. The successful candidate will also have Admin/Adhoc responsibilities and be expected to conduct Project Coordination at some points during the projects tenure.
As a Lead Document Controller, your principal roles and responsibilities will include:

Collection of all Health and Safety paperwork.
Downloading and updating all documentation, and schedules, to produce progress reports.
Issuing documentation to all sub-contractors with specific schedules and trackers.
Updating progress reports daily and downloading any comments from the client.
Specifically Identifying and numbering all documents.
Create Health and Safety packs and issue them to all subcontractors that are appointed.
Scheduling all Project Manager/Controller management site inspections each week.
Multiple monthly checks on all Risk Assessment method Statements, changing all dates and reuploading to Aconex.
Essential criteria:

Must have 3+ years of Document Controller Experience.
Experience using Aconex, SharePoint (other relevant EDM systems.)
Effective analytical thinking skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Be very precise and thorough in work.
Be available to start within the next 3 weeks.
Able to be based in Cambridge, on-site 5 days a week.The role has a base salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. The available package also includes a travel allowance.
