Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst / Manager.
Location: Watford, North London.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £30k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Asbestos Lab Manager.

We are working closely with a highly reputable Asbestos Consultancy. They are now looking to recruit an Asbestos Lab Analyst / Manager to join their established team of Laboratory Analysts. You will be carrying out analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy for the presence of asbestos, alongside assisting with the training of new analysts, and overseeing the day to day running of the laboratory, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 248 guidelines. The role would suit an up-and-coming Lab Analyst, who is looking to take the next step within their career and move into asbestos lab management. Experience & Qualifications:
" BOHS P401 (Mandatory)
" Experience the Asbestos industry, ideally working within a Lab Analyst / Manager role for a UKAS accredited company.
" Keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills.
" Work well under pressure and will be flexible and adaptable.
" Will be IT literate, able to work on internal systems.
" Able to communicate efficiently.

The Role:
" Undertaking analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy for the presence of asbestos.
" Logging and correctly storing all samples upon arrival to the laboratory.
" Using internal systems to produce reports upon completion of analysis.
" Ensuring all equipment is calibrated and the laboratory is tidy.
" Assisting in overseeing and managing a team of lab analysts.
" Assisting in training new starters in line with company needs.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
" Liaising with managers and clients when required.
