Job summary
Integra Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEMH setting in Stoke on Trent. You will be working with primary aged children who are in the care system and have experienced past trauma.The school provides exciting opportunities for their staff including training and development. The successful candidate will be confident supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
You will ideally have previous SEMH experience and have proven ability to adapt to challenging situations, the needs of the class and individuals.
Proof of safeguarding training is required for this role, if you do not hold a valid certificate we can support you with this.

* Type of work - Long Term/Temp to Perm

* Full time
* Pay £85-100 per day
* Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
The Successful Candidate will have:
* Classroom based experience
* TA qualification is desirable but not essential
* Previous experience working in a UK school
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

* Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
