Job summary
We're looking for a Development Engineer - or Junor Development Engineer - to assist with co-ordinating the production of engineering design information and provide on-going engineering and technical support to other departments within the businessOur client are a privately owned Housing & Residential Developer.
Working with a strong & impressive list of Housing Associations, local councils & Registered Providers, they've developed a strong reputation for delivering affordable housing throughout Greater Manchester & the wider North West.
Working closely with the Head of Technical (a former Engineer himself, therefore able & willing to offer the support, & direction & development required of a more Junior/Assistant level Engineer) you'll offer help to the wider Technical & Construction teams, from design stage to roads, sewers & foundations, to the full build stage of the development, which are often & mainly new build housing & apartment schemes.
Similar to their key repeat partner clients, they also have a strong list of repeat partner sub-contractors & consultancies, whilst having a strong pipeline of work through 2024, 2025 & beyond which could see them almost double their current output, bringing further opportunities for career development and role progression.
They're keen for someone with experienced from working within volume house builder or consultancy-based role with AutoCAD experience and preferably qualified to degree level or HNC/HND in a Construction or Engineering subject.
As you know - if you're carrying out a similar post in a similar organisation - this is an office based role with occasional travel to sites & consultants offices, for meetings.
The role attracts a negotiable salary of £42,000 to £49,500 basic salary (depending on experience, oufcourse) plus car allowance and additional benefits.
