General TA April Start, full-time temporaryA client school of Teaching Personnel based in Macclesfield is currently recruiting for a General Teaching Assistant to come and work with the school on a full-time temporary basis starting after the schools Easter break in April and running until the end of the school year. The school services an affluent catchment area and benefits from fantastic facilities throughout the school and a team of teachers and support staff who have a passion for providing a rich and varied curriculum.
The school is reachable by foot or by bus from Macclesfield as well as being accessible by train from Stockport and Manchester. Should you have access to a vehicle then this would be advantageous and would allow easy access from the Greater Manchester area.
The role would involve aiding class teachers throughout a number of subjects and year groups, making sure that students have a full understanding of tasks within lessons and can complete said tasks in a timely manner. The candidate will mostly be working with small groups of students with learning difficulties who require extra assistance.
Pay: £77 - £85 per day depending on experience. (based on a 6.5 hour working day)

Monday to Friday, 8:30am 3:00pm during term time.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of how schools operate and will be adaptable to help out in a variety of subjects. Whilst no official planning of lessons will be necessary, once the candidate has formed an effective relationship with students who require additional help, you will be expected to differentiated existing lesson plans to best help the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
