Job summary
Excel Industrial are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant to join our clients growing office in Nottingham NG2.Responsibilities:
Provide clerical and administrative support to the office
Maintain office supplies and inventory
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
Assist with organising and scheduling appointments/emails
Assist with marketing and ordering of materials
Assist with supplier outstanding balances
Assist with basic bookkeeping/HMRC payments using the companies accounts system
Maintain a clean and organised office environment
Experience:
Previous experience in an office assistant or administrative role
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to type accurately and efficiently
Familiarity with basic office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers
