Job summary

Our client (a market leading facilities company is now looking for a H&S Officer to join their estates & facilities team on a permanent basis. This position will be crucial in providing Technical and Administrative support to their Facilities team.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Assisting with Permits, updating the compliance database, ensuring online training is completed, contractor control, logbook updating etc.

Legionella Documentation

Management of COSHH and other site logbooks

Purchasing Safety Equipment & Signage etc

Collection and Recording of Data (KPIs)

The person

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high standard of administration, ensuring work is organised and prioritised in line with the teams priorities. They will also provide daily assistance with management of external contractors on site so that scheduled works are carried out safely and in line with H&S compliance.

The successful candidate will need to have a demonstrable experience of working in a busy and dynamic team environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person who enjoys working across a number of different activities and is comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.

This position would ideally suit someone who has a keen interest in health, safety and compliance and is eager to develop their H&S knowledge and career further in an engineering / facilities environment.

Experience of working in an engineering or facilities sector, along with a basic knowledge of H&S and Operational Assurance underpinned by good IT skills is essential.

Package on Offer

Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week
Salary Banding £29,500 to £30,500
