Job summary
About this PositionThis company specialises in the process of Chemical Vapour Deposition. They develop new coating processes, and they produce industrial CVD equipment for sale worldwide. This company is now looking for a skilled Electrical Wiring Technician to join the team.
Job Responsibilities
* Install and wire electrical components and systems for CVD equipment, following schematic diagrams and technical specifications.
* Conduct electrical tests, including continuity, resistance, and insulation resistance tests, to validate wiring and system functionality.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while working with electrical components, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Maintain accurate records of electrical wiring configurations, diagrams, and documentation for future reference and improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and technicians, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical and control components.
* Perform regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability and longevity of CVD equipment.
Experience Required
* Qualified IEE regulations electrician.
* Proven experience in electrical design, build, modification, and testing/commissioning, preferably with CVD equipment or related industrial machinery.
* Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
* Attention to detail and precision in wiring and electrical connections
