TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Carmarthen. The school encourages outdoors and classroom participation in a safe and secure environment. The school has a real connection with sport building pupils confidence and engagement to help them flourish personally and academically. They are looking for a confident and approachable TA / Teaching Assistant to add to this environment and this is where you come in!
The school is looking to take on a confident and compassionate TA / Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be working with both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful TA / Teaching Assistant will have 6 months classroom based experience or transferable skills working with children. The role will be paramount in helping children develop their confidence which you as a successful TA / Teaching Assistant will help build.
The successful TA / Teaching Assistant will have:
6 Months classroom based experience or relevant transferrable experience
Excellent communication skills
Be able to support a classroom teacher
