Job Title: Consultant EcologistSalary: £23,000 - £33,000 DOE
Locations: Hampshire
We are looking for a Consultant Ecologist to join a unique family-run consultancy based in Hampshire.
They play a key role in the rail industry, providing a whole manner of off-track solutions, and minor civils works, in partnership with Network Rail and other major contractors. They are also a leading Arboriculture and Forestry Contractor, with well over a decade of experience and expertise in the forestry sector. They have seen recent significant growth and are proud to be a Principal Contractor and Framework Contractor to Network Rail, as well as having some exciting projects underway in woodland management, timber harvesting, rail and civils works across the country.
The Consultant Ecologist position offers:
Salary of £23,000 - £33,000 depending on experience

Flexible working practicesYour duties will be:
Provide support and in-depth guidance in many aspects of ecological conservation.
Assist with management of ecology resources within the company.
Assist in the development of ecological management strategies, plans and budget costs as required.
Advise on habitat management and current wildlife legislations, as required.
Produce technical reports in a timely manner and to a high standard.
Undertake ecological surveying and logistics planning at a variety of sites, as required.
Undertake Preliminary Ecological Assessments (PEAs), Ecological Impact Assessments (ECiAs) and Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRAs).To be considered you will need:
Degree in a relevant subject
This is a permanent role.
