Job summary
SEND Teaching Assistant Ellesmere PortSimply Education are proud to be working in partnership with a number of Primary Schools across the Chester & Ellesmere Port area and we are seeking Teaching Assistants for a number of roles starting in January after the half term. We are seeking committed Teaching Assistants who can provide consistency, care and support in a mainstream primary environment. The children you will be working with will require patience and support to enable them to access the work planned out by the teacher using a variety of differentiated support outlined by the classroom teacher.
Days: Monday to Friday (39 weeks per year)
Hours: 8.30-3.30
Pay: £11.60 13.30 per hour!! (£75-80 per day)!!

The roles will be working from Reception to Year 6 and therefore we are able to find the age group that you are best suited too. You will be based in the classroom supporting students to access the work set out by the class Teachers. The Teachers will work closely with you to enable you to best support the children you will be working with. To be successful in this role the key requirements are patience and consistency, you will be supporting students to keep them on task and allowing the children to feel comfortable within school and grow their character.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a positive attitude and approach towards children and learning.
A great work ethic.
A genuine passion for education.
6+ months experience would be ideal however any experience will be considered.
An understanding of SEND

10-year checkable work/education history.
