Job summary
We are a good primary school in Blackburn area looking for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be positive, enthusiastic, work well with others and have a passion for pupils education. As a school our pupils with their families are our priority to ensure we are working in harmony to create a positive learning environment, we expect all our staff to share this ethos.As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you would be required to:
Assist the classroom teacher with delivery of lessons.
Support pupils when required within a class of 28-31 pupils.
Assist in the management of behaviour.
Recognise gaps in learning.
Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to provide extra support in the core subjects, Numeracy, Literacy, and guided reading.
Our school has excellent equipment and facilities to support staff with the teaching of our pupils. Within our school we have students with varying abilities, there may be pupils within your classroom that require SEN support.
Full-time Monday to Friday, 8.30am 3.30pm.
Competitive rates £11.80 - £12.50 per hour
Experience and relevant qualifications essential
Role to start March 2024.
Temporary with a view to make the right candidate permanent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
