Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, ensuring the safety and well-being of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
Assist with the planning and preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Utilise Team-Teach training to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour effectively.
Support individual and small group learning activities, including interventions and extension tasks.
Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.Requirements:
Team-Teach certification or equivalent training in behaviour management.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is desirable.
Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents/carers.
