Job summary
This is a specific post, caring for a wonderful disabled lady who is fiercely independent and has a great personality, looking for a carer who is fun, professional.The client will need support to reach their personal goals including losing weight, increasing their mobility and confidence. You will also be required to provide some pet care for her cat. A driver would be preferred but is not essential for the role as your personality is the most important aspect for the client.
You will need to be ready and available to complete 12-week placements, with a view to becoming the long-term carer for the client.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Medication administration and management in-line with company policy
* Enabling mobility, including manual handling transfers and exercising
* To encourage and motivate clients to maintain their independence and personal goals
* To contact key people including the care manager, doctors and other healthcare professionals where required
* To prepare and cook meals of the clients choice in their own home
* Undertake domestic tasks including cleaning to maintain a high quality of living
* Record and document all appropriate information in a timely manner
* Personal care i.e. washing, dressing, oral care, hair care, nail care, foot care, eye care, toileting.
* Pet care
Experience
* Proven personal or professional experience as a carer
* Ability to engage service users of all ages and respond to client's needs in a positive manner.
* Good communication skills and ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
* Detail oriented with an excellent record of keeping detailed records and documentation on client's.

* Earn from £750 per week
* Up to £80 for travel to/from placement
