Job summary
DescriptionWe are working with an Electronics Manufacturing client who are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their site, based in Warrington.
Responsibilities / The Candidate
Producing Electrical Schematics and drawings in line with project specifications
Researching, designing and writing new software programs
Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
Producing specifications, and complying with project plans and industry standards
Document and maintain software functionality
Confirm system and components capabilities by designing testing methods; finished products and system capabilities
Preparing product reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends
Designing, developing and maintaining electrical control systems and components
Reading and understanding design specifications and technical drawings
Carrying our feasibility studies for new technical innovations
Testing installations and systems, and analysing dataExperience
A Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar and knowledge of Software Programming are essential. You'll be proficient in the use of IT Systems and you will be adept at making electrical wiring and cable diagrams. If you have Project Management experience and Circuit PCB design, this would be advantageous.
Our Ideal Control Systems Engineer will be commercially aware with the ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and management to explain complex issues clearly and concisely. You'll have a logical, analytical and creative approach to problems. You must also have the following systems capability:
Minimum 5+ years in a similar Controls System Engineer role
Embedded C
C Sharp
C++
Motion Control
Servo Drives
PLC logic programming
HMI programming
Use of AutoCAD or ePlan for design of control panels and wiring diagramsJob Benefits

37 hours per week Monday - Thursday 9-5pm & Friday 9-3pm
