Job summary
Promoting a leading made to measure range of PVC and aluminium window and door systems across Scotland and the North of England. Tracking and winning residential new-build and remedial works from regional house builders, local authorities and housing associations.Package: £40k-£45k basic with a bonus scheme for 2024 tbc + a hybrid or electric car, 25 days holiday and company pension
Territory: Yorkshire, North West, North East and Scotland
Selling: PVC and aluminium window and door systems, including bifold doors, sash windows and hardware
Customers: Regional house builders, local authorities and housing associations.
THE ROLE Business Development Manager:
* Promoting a leading made to measure range of fenestration products, with the emphasis on their PVC and aluminium windows and doors
* You will inherit a small portfolio of accounts to manage and develop, but with the focus on developing new relationships
* Tracking and winning residential new-build and remedial works from regional house builders, local authorities and housing associations
* Whilst working alongside an established distribution and fabrication network, that all business won will be back-sold through
* You will also account manage and develop the relationship with your distribution network, offering training and support where required
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT Business Development Manager:
* You will already have field sales experience within the window and door fabricator sector
* This could have been gained either selling to fabricators or working for one
* You will be proactive and target driven, with excellent communication skills
* An organised and structured self-starter, that enjoys being on the road in-front of your customers
