TeacherActive is honoured to be working with SEND schools in Sheffield to find passionate, caring and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant or aspiring SEND Teaching Assistants to contribute towards their mission in making sure that every student has a great educational journey.The ideal candidate will be patient and understanding of the children's needs. The schools requires a Teaching Assistant who is very open minded and has desire to grow and develop. You will need to use your passion for inspiring children ages 3-19 to enjoy learning, encouraging them to take pride in their achievements, be confident in their abilities and play an active role in school life whilst ensuring children and young people develop skills for life. This role will require moving and handling.
The Successful SEND Teaching Assistant Will Have:
- A positive and engaging attitude.
- Active listening skills.
- Great communication skills.
