Salary: £23,205 + £1.75 PH Night Shift Allowance
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Nights
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Export Administrator to join the team at our Markham Vale site. As Export Administrator you will be expected to provide accurate administration for a busy export department. Supporting the onsite operations team by administering the customer inbound and outbound bookings, ensuring that the documentation for export is accurate and that the relevant clearances are obtained and supporting other administrative tasks.
Job responsibilities of Export Administrator include:
Collating and processing export documentation including Dangerous Goods Notes
Obtaining export clearances
Liaising with the customer and MV2 Operations and Stock depts. including sending reports, responding to queries and requests
General administration paperwork filing
Administering the Inbound and Outbound booking schedules
Ensure an understandable and accurate handover is given at the end of each shift rotation.
Escalating any issues to the Shift Manage
Qualifications
As an Export Administrator you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
PC literate and experience in Microsoft Office programmes
Ability to solve problems methodically and actively seek resolutions
Pro-active and adaptable approach
Self-starter, ability to work using own initiative
Conscientious and reliable
Able to manage own workload effectively and prioritise
Excellent customer service skills
Organised, clean and tidy approach to work
Previous Export administration and DGN experience is desirable although training can be provided
