Leeds Hybrid (office one a week), £40,000 - £55,000, Senior Decision Science AnalystElevation Recruitment Group are excited to be partnering exclusively with a leading West Yorkshire employer as they look to recruit a Senior Decision Science Analyst!

As Senior Decision Science Analyst, you will be an integral part of their mission to revolutionise how they approach consumer decision-making, delivering high-quality statistical and machine learning models for Operations, Pricing & and Finance. As part of a high performing team, you will lead and mentor to contribute to the delivery of data science initiatives, and to ensure all outputs are aligned with internal needs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Build, enhance, and maintain predictive models focused on consumer segmentation, activity/effort prioritisation, forecasting, and operational performance enhancement using the most appropriate statistical and machine learning methodologies
Address a broad array of general business questions through data and logical inference, and provide ad hoc analytic support for operational projects and initiatives
Lead projects by translating unstructured business problems into well-defined and tractable modelling projects by setting out project scope and deliverables alongside Gantt charts to track progress.
Develop professional presentations and documentation to communicate key messages and findings to senior leaders and colleagues
Work cross functionally to provide direct support and accomplish shared goals.
Provide support and mentorship to colleagues within Decision Science
At all times to comply with company standards, including those for Model Risk Management and Data Protection Knowledge
We are keen to speak with Data Science professionals who possess the following skills and experience:
Degree in a quantitative discipline i.e. Statistics, Machine Learning, or an allied field
Demonstrable experience in building a variety of statistical models from complex, specialised or large data
High competency with a variety of machine learning models
Direct experience of numerical programming (using, e.g., SAS, Python, R), database programming (using, e.g., SQL Server and/or Azure SQL), and exposure to modern data science environments (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Azure-based data-science tools and environments)
