£379.60 - £406.25 per week
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 TA to work in a local primary school in Bristol on a full-time basis starting in January 2024.
About the role
The successful TA will be able to build a positive relationship with an individual and provide specialist support in a classroom setting to cater for the special educational needs and disabilities of the child. This is a highly rewarding career that requires a flexible approach, creativity and excellent communication in order to engage the pupil with their learning. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be patient, enthusiastic, resilient and motivated to promote the childs progress.

The Ofsted rated Good school in North Bristol serves a diverse community and is dedicated in creating a nurturing environment for students and staff. The school has a rich and stimulating curriculum including hosting performing arts events and craft activities. The school has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities to enhance childrens learning and experience. The school is looking for a caring, committed and creative SEND TA who has a positive attitude when supporting children with learning. The ideal TA would have experience working within Key Stage 2 and would be able to apply their skills to the role.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS2 TA you will:
Be a motivated, dedicated and resilient person
Support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Have a passion for helping children make progress in their learning
Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
to have an Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce)
