HR Manager, 30 hours a weekUp to 12 month FTC
Salary: Up to £50k dependent on experience
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join our well-established client based in Halifax on a 12-month FTC as interim HR Manager. We're seeking a dynamic HR professional who can work independently at operational and strategic levels. Qualified at CIPD Level 5 or above, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of UK employment Law and will confidently be able to advise and guide on all aspects of HR and legal related matters.
This family friendly client offers flexibility on working hours for the right candidate. This position offers 30 hours which can be split over 4 or 5 days, between the hours of 7.30-17.00 Monday- Friday. Monthly travel to other local office locations is required.
As a HR Manager you will be working closely with the leadership team to assist with employee relations. A through handover with the current HRM will be provided at the start of the contract.
The Role:
Support alignment between HR strategy and business goals
Provide first line advice on all HR issues to employees, business leaders and managers
Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes, adapting and implementing change where applicable in line with UK employment legislation changes
Management and development of direct reports within the HR team
Designing and implementing training and development plans for staff members
Setting and reviewing pay structures and benefits packages
Robust reporting
Oversee and manage the performance management cycleThe Candidate:
CIPD Level 5 or above is essential
Minimum 3 years' experience of delivering HR Generalist support
Experience of facilitating change management and strategy
Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team
Strong people management skills with proven experience of being able to lead, coach and motivate employees and leaders
Excellent UK employment law knowledge
