Job summary
KPJ Group are looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist in hydrogen powered business solutions based in Rochdale. This is family run business with over half a century of industry experience.Whats on offer?
* £15.68 an hour
* Monday Thursday 7:30am 4:30pm / Friday 7:30am 12:30pm
* Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
* Employer pension contribution (6%)
* 22 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Welder/Fabricator?
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
* Selecting and setting up welding equipment, such as MIG and TIG welders, based on the job requirements.
* Preparing materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces to be welded.
* Welding metal parts together using MIG and TIG welding techniques, while ensuring quality and accuracy of welds.
* Inspecting welds to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
* Performing routine maintenance on welding equipment and ensuring it is kept in good working condition.
* Operating other fabrication equipment, such as drill presses, grinders, and saws, as needed.
* Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other production staff to develop and refine welding processes and techniques.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
* Keeping accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
What do you need?
* Experience in both MIG and TIG welding
* Previous experience as a fabricator
* An understanding of how to read technical engineering drawings
