A leading Property and Construction consultancy based near Southampton is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As a respected consultancy they provide Project Management, Construction Management and Cost Management services and work on a wide range of projects for Private Individuals, Developers, Private Companies, Public Sector organisations and Contractors.

Purpose of the Role:

As the Quantity Surveyor you will ensure the effective administration of all aspects of pre and post contract quantity surveying duties whilst ensuring rigid cost control to minimise the costs of the project and enhance value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor from either a consultancy or contractor background who is looking to complete their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and work toward full MRICS membership.

Requirements

* Over 3 years construction Quantity Surveying experience.

* Consultancy or Main Contracting background.

* Knowledge of building appropriate Scope of Works documents and Bills of Quantities.

* Experience in tender and subcontract account processes.

* Organised with sharp financial and cost management skills.

* Understanding of JCT forms of contract
