The Client
Our client is a leading global professional services firm that provides high-quality consulting, engineering, and project management services, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team.
Job Specification
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveying activities, including fieldwork, data collection, and analysis, and producing detailed survey reports. You will be working on a wide range of projects across various sectors, such as infrastructure, energy, property, and environmental services, among others.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting field surveys, including topographic, cadastral, construction, and engineering surveys, using a range of surveying equipment, such as GPS, Trimble/Leica total stations, and levels.
* Collecting, analysing, and interpreting survey data to produce accurate and reliable reports, maps, and plans using LSS, AutoCAD and SCC software.
* Preparing and reviewing legal documents related to land surveys, such as land descriptions, easements, and right-of-way documents.
* Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that surveying activities are aligned with project timelines and objectives.
* Ensuring that all surveying activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
* Maintaining and updating survey equipment and tools to ensure that they are in good working condition and properly calibrated.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or time served in related field.
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility in your approach to working hours.
* Willing and able to travel and work in adverse weather conditions.
* Full UK driving licence.
