Introduction.
We are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to join the owner operator of three Energy from Waste plants in the West Midlands. This is based out of their head office / main site in Wolverhampton but will involved travel to the other sites in Dudley & Stoke.
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for managing all the Health, Safety and Environmental issues relating to the site.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading the implementation of standardised Health & Safety Systems within the sites which includes developing company's quality standards and accreditations to include ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001/45001.
Monitor / investigate and act upon any incidents or hazards and report accordingly.
Prepare H&S reports including statistical and performance data.
Complete toolbox talks and safety briefings as and when required.
Carrying out audits and managing external auditor relationships for all HSE procedures
Creating, implementing and managing the sites Health & Safety Management System ensuring policies / procedures are all regularly updated and maintained

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following: A relevant professional qualification including NEBOSH or equivalent Level 3 Health & Safety qualification
Experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role gained in a heavy engineering environmental such as Power Generation/ Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical or Water
Knowledge of UK HSE legalisation and quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001)
CDM 2015 knowledge would be ideal

Package & Benefits Starting salary of £32,000
