SPR are proud to be working in partnership with an established client to recruit for Qualified Early Years Tutor based within and the surrounding areas of the South/East Staffordshire region.The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual with a commitment to providing personalised teaching and adaptability to students of varying ages and understanding. Additionally, this candidate will have great organisational, communication and listening skills.
Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS.
Full, clean, UK drivers license with access to own vehicle with business insurance.
QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) Qualification, with at least 2 years post qualification experience in teaching/learning.
Ability to teach students of all ages at varying levels of understanding and proficiency.
Experience assessing the progress of assigned students to ensure effective processes.
Professional experience preparing lesson plans and personalized instruction.
Education in teaching methodology, theory, and processes.
Theoretical and practical understanding of the subject to be taught.
Experience of working with children and young people with additional and complex support needs.
Experience of working with children and young people with additional and complex support needs.
Thorough understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection.Responsibilities of the Early Years Tutor:
Schedule tutoring appointments with parents/carers and students
Create educational materials to further demonstrate subject matter covered in the tutoring sessions
Assess the academic progress of assigned students against benchmarks
Assess and support the social and emotional progress of assigned students
Plan creative lessons to engage and educate students
Establish a friendly, encouraging, and welcoming environment for students
Connect with parents/carers to keep them informed of their childs progress and areas of improvement
Collaborate with the students family to ensure a smooth transition from home learning/alternative provision to mainstream setting
