Financial Controller Doncaster c£55,000 & BonusChase & Holland are delighted to be working exclusively with a Doncaster based client who is a large, well established multinational manufacturing company. They are looking for a competent, driven Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. Reporting into the UK Chief Financial Officer this will be a hands-on position requiring the candidate to draw on their technical ability to produce financial and statutory accounts and the associated reports for multiple UK divisions.

Responsible for all group financial reporting across the UK divisions, including group consolidation
Leading a team of financial professionals to enable the facilitation of accurate inputting, reporting, monitoring, and processing of all aspects of finance
Full balance sheet responsibility across various UK divisions
Quarterly and statutory accounts, including narrative, interpretation, and recommendations
Budgets and forecasting Improve reporting and analysis of KPI's by product/geographical region and produce sales/profitability reporting by customer
To ensure all VAT and Tax obligations are fully met, on time and in line with statutory requirements
Undertake project work as required including tendering for grants, conducting investment appraisal and other
Continuously reviewing processes and making recommendations for improvements. Including implementing and driving changeThe ideal candidate:
Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Accountant
Technically strong including statutory reporting, financial controls, group consolidation
Strong excel skills and exposure working with ERP systems
Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers
