Job summary
I have been retained by a well known engineering consultancy who are looking to grow their highways department. They are looking for an assistant civil engineer or civil engineer to join their team in Kent. Their highways team currently consists of 50 and they have some really exciting growth plans for the future. Your team will consist of 7 engineers ranging from apprentice to Associate Director level. You will be reporting into either the Associate Director or Principal Engineer. Assistant Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
Delivery of highways design and civil engineering support for a range of highways related design projects.
Project related task management for junior staff
Undertake technical tasks assigned by project managers and senior managers
Compliance with H&S policy and CDM regulations.
Adhere to PCL Quality Assurance systems and procedures
Activities may include AutoCAD drawings & designs, site surveys, analysing data and writing reports
What the Assistant Civil Engineer needs:
Highways & Transportation project design experience including application of standards.
Civil Engineering Degree, HNC, etc
CSCS Card
AutoCAD certification
Presentation Skills
Experience writing reports
