Job summary
Mechanical Contracts Manager / Project Manager requiredWere working in partnership with a Principal Contractor who specialise in the Decarbonisation of Commercial Buildings across Scotland. The business will cover everything from M&E through to fabric on site, with specialist Supervisors reporting into the Site Manager on site.
Projects typically come in form and size of Education, Healthcare or Public Office Buildings between the values of £5-10M. They report directly into the client, who are mostly Local Authorities with a budget to retain and lower carbon consumption in old and new buildings.
This role requires a Mechanical Contracts Manager or Project Manager with a strong procurement and client facing background. Youll manage 11 sites across a region, with individual Site Managers reporting into you. Your role will be to manage the client through the process and ensure delivery of these projects to time and budget, supported by a Quantity Surveyor.
Theyre looking for a Contracts Manager / Project Manager who has a background working for an M&E Contractor or alternatively the Mechanical specialist for a Principal Contractor. Contracts will be predominantly based around the Central Belt of Scotland.
M&E Contracts Manager / Project Manager Requirements:
* Mechanically bias, ideally have Plant-Room, Heat Pump or District Heating experience (But not essential)
* Commercial project experience background Education, Offices or Healthcare
* Prepared to travel between Edinburgh & Glasgow
* Strong client facing background with a team of Site Managers reporting into you
