As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in our company's ongoing success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimation and quantity surveying, with the ability to accurately assess the cost of projects and provide invaluable support to our project management team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed cost analysis for electrical projects, including material, labor, and overhead expenses.
* Prepare accurate and competitive bids, proposals, and tender submissions.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to assess project requirements and specifications.
* Review project plans and drawings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, trends, and regulations to ensure cost estimates are accurate and competitive.
* Participate in negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor project costs and assist in financial tracking and reporting.
* Prepare and present cost reports and estimates to management and clients.
* Support the project team in the procurement process and contract administration.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor in the construction or electrical industry.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
* Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Professional certifications (e.g., CPE, PQS, or equivalent) are a plus.
