Job summary
As part of a small and dedicated team, we are seeking an Account Manager and Business Development Executive to internally manage existing accounts and drive new business growth for our client.Salary £33,000 Basic + uncapped Commission
Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm
Our client is a dynamic packaging manufacturer, committed to delivering innovative packaging solutions to a diverse clientele.
What you will do:
Account Management (50%):
* Develop a comprehensive call plan to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
* Conduct regular telephone and email contact with existing customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
* Emphasise the importance of maintaining a high level of phone contact to nurture these relationships.
* Obtain new orders and inquiries from existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
Business Development (50%):
* Utilise company data and conduct independent research to identify potential new business opportunities.
* Implement proactive business development strategies, including phone calls, email outreach, product sampling, and distribution of marketing literature.
* Work diligently to establish new client relationships and drive sales growth.
What you need:
* Experience working in a proactive sales environment, ideally within a manufacturing background.
* Proficiency in Microsoft software applications, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for presentations.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for business development.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
