About the Role:
As a Technical Product Manager / ERP Implementation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role as the liaison between business stakeholders and our technical development teams (both in-house and 3rd party).
Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including:
Product Vision: Communicating the technical product vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to document technical requirements and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs and priorities.
Feature Prioritisation: Making informed decisions about feature prioritization, balancing business needs, technical complexity, and resource constraints.
Technical Roadmap: Developing and maintaining a technical roadmap, prioritizing features, enhancements, and technical debt based on business value and technical feasibility.
Feedback Loop: Establishing a feedback loop with business stakeholders to gather insights on technical solutions and using it to drive continuous improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, architects, quality assurance, and DevOps, to ensure effective and efficient product development.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating technical risks that may impact the successful delivery of the product.
Release Planning: Coordinating technical product releases, defining release goals, feature scope, and timelines.
Previous Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a related Computing field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, Applied Computing, or similar).
* Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in technical product development.
* Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Deep technical knowledge and experience in software development, architecture, or related areas.
Key Tech Skills:
* Exposure to modern operating systems (e.g., Windows & Linux).
* Developing and supporting IT tools in a business environment.
* Understanding of Software Development processes and associated software development lifecycle challenges.
* User engagement - translating business needs into viable solution design.
* Experience leading ERP implementations - (SAP4/HANA).
* Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas would also be beneficial to the role:
* Web Application development (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework/ORM).
* SaaS/Cloud-based technologies
