Job summary
The Opportunity:As Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for reporting and analysis of financial cost aspects of the business unit, across strategy to operations. You will work closely with the Senior Cost Accountant to support world-class solutions for customers and suppliers.
This is a fixed contract for 6 months, supporting the Senior Cost Accountant. You may not have all the experiene we have indicated in the job advert, so we are open to speaking with a suitable candidate who has transferable skills and experience.
Some of the key responsibilities for this successful person would be but no limited to:
* Support monthly forecasting and business plan process.
* Assist with month-end reporting and variance analysis.
* Project analysis and validation.
* ROI comparisons.
* Profitability analysis at Product and Site level.
* Sales price and manufacturing costs comparison (Actuals vs Budget).
* BOM Analysis and material cost comparison.
* Cash flow reporting & Control.
The Candidate:
The successful Financial Analyst will be/have:
* AAT or Qualified by Experience (QBE) or be a stopped studier
* Strong financial analysis and reporting capability
* Ideally you will have experience working in either FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Heavy Manufacturing, Engineering or Automotive
* Exposure to BOM (Bill of Materials), SCM (Supply Chain Management) would be great
* Be self-motivated, diligent, and thorough, with great attention to detail and accuracy
* Be a strong team player and comfortable supporting on analysis and have relevance in it
* Knowledge of Pricing, BOM, standard pricing and variances would be icing on the cake
