Job summary
The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw campus to join our Facilities Team as a Building Maintenance Technician on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.
As a qualified and skilled Building Maintenance Technician under the direction of the Building Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide planned and reactive maintenance across all building trade related disciplines including painting and decorating. Undertake project work for the College and associated partner premises.
You will be required to use the college's Topdesk system to undertake allocated works either planned or reactive related jobs to ensure SLA's are adhered to and constantly strive to continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Building trade related qualification to level 3 or significant experience
