What Are We Looking For?
Our in-house CAD design team is looking for an Assistant CAD Technician to join our office in Basingstoke. Youll be working alongside experienced Designers across a multi-disciplinary team who have years of knowledge and experience within RSE to offer guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to work on technically complex and challenging projects within the Water industry.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
* Work with RSEs design teams and project delivery teams to produce drawings.
* Liaise with Engineers and Senior CAD Technicians/Managers to produce CAD drawings.
* Maintaining CAD library.
* Independently work and manage timescales against project programmes.
* Make changes to exiting designs.
* Checking the quality of information collected on site, and the successful transition to deliverables.
* Any other duties as required by the business.
What Do You Need?:
* An Engineering qualification, ideally with a mechanical bias.
* A familiarity with piping systems, pumps, valves, tanks, and associated matters.
* Good knowledge in the use of AutoCAD
* Experience in 3D Design.
* Experience in understanding PFDs and P&IDs.
* Any experience of Revit (MEP) or Inventor would be highly advantageous.
* Keen focus on quality whilst also be able to work at pace within a multi-disciplinary team.
