Mechanical Supervisor required for a a commercial education project in Leeds.
Start Date: ASAP
Site hours: 43 hrs basic Mon Fri (plus overtime)
Duration: 6 months initially
(Following this period there will be an option to move to a project in either Nottingham or Catterick area)
Duties: Supervision of a mechanical trades team on a commercial building services education project.
Your duties will include:
- Supervising and managing labour, including sub contractors and direct staff
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members
- Monitoring work progress and ensuring deadlines are met
- Providing guidance and support to team members
- Ensuring a high standard of work
- Implementing Health and Safety in a positive manor, PPE, RAMS etc
Requirements: SSSTS Certification, Mechanical trade accreditation: Skillcard, JIB, etc
Experience of working in a commercial education environment is advantageous
Time served / apprenticed mechanically with relevant supervisory experience working with an established building services / mechanical contractor.
