Hybrid role
Our client is an independent sustainability and engineering consultancy and they are looking for a Sustainability Consultant and BREEAM Assessor to join their growing Energy and Sustainability team. You will be working closely with the M&E and Building Physics teams. Based out of either in Swindon or their Bristol office, you will work on a 3 day per week in the office and 2 days from home hybrid arrangement.
They are committed to providing the very best to their team ensuring that each team member has the right resources and skills to achieve.
The role will include
* Leading on projects to deliver BREEAM, HQM and other rating systems advice and assessment to clients and design teams
* Working on a wide variety of projects, with multiple clients, across industry sectors
* Delivering across various sustainability services including energy and sustainability statements for planning, master-planning sustainability advice, contractor support and energy/water analysis
* Project management responsibilities including managing multiple and cross-team workflows and team members, financial management of projects, invoicing and project performance reporting
* Business development responsibilities including bid development, fee proposals and work winning
* Building and maintaining new and existing client relationships at project and strategic levels
* Keeping abreast of industry/sector initiatives (e.g. LETI, net zero, Building Regulations) and feeding back to team members
What experience and qualifications are needed for this role.
* A proven track record of leading on and delivering successful BREEAM assessments for clients, including BREEAM Excellent or better
* BREEAM licensed
* Knowledge and experience of any of the following schemes is beneficial; Home Quality Mark (HQM), BREEAM Communities, SKA, WELL, Fitwel, CEEQUAL and DREAM
* Awareness and knowledge of industry regulations and sector initiatives including net zero carbon, LETI, NABERS etc
* Leading/project managing delivery of energy and sustainability services on projects
