SEND Teaching Assistants vacancies in Liverpool for immediate start!TeacherActive is currently recruiting for 2 SEND Teaching Assistant vacancies that have opened up at a large mainstream primary school in the Liverpool area to work on a 1:1 basis supporting children in KS2 with SEND.
The school requires people who can start as soon as possible full time. This role will be ongoing indefinitely and will be continuing into the next academic year.
The post requires talented Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants who can take the lead in supporting the children in meeting their personal targets to join their team of dedicated staff.
All applicants must be either NQV level 2 qualified or have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children with SEND. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.

The role will include:
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
1:1 work with students who require additional support
Leading group work
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
