What will you be doing as a Solar Sales Executive?
You will be working with a team of Sales Executives to drive sales in both new and existing accounts. You will qualify warm inbound leads and then visit those opportunities at their home. You will be meeting new clients preparing PV designs, quotations, and order preparations via an easy-to-use CRM system. You will identify customer pain points, establish solutions with a renewable offering, and demonstrate a return on investment for the client in their homes or over a video meeting. To be an effective solar sales executive, you must be aware of market trends/changes and look for opportunities. Keep up to date on new products, services, and procedures by self-learning and attending training and company meetings. Dealing with install partners and being aware of stock inventory, ensuring operations run smoothly.
Product training will be given allowing you to cost and plan the installation of solar PV systems including batteries and car chargers. Suited to a driven and resourceful individual, you will be helping assess customers properties (both domestic and commercial), cost the systems accurately and communicate with the customer and fittings team to ensure a swift and efficient installation by identifying and avoiding potential problems.
The successful Surveyor will be responsible for:
Undertaking customer visits, working from plans, or conducting remote surveys to measure the dimensions of roof areas (for example, internal, external or interior of the loft).
* Identifying and addressing obstructions.
* Taking photographs of key areas.
* Considering cable runs between panels, inverter, batteries and home electrical supply.
* Identifying potential locations of equipment in discussion with the customer.
* Preparing reports summarising the proposal and highlighting concerns or issues pertinent to the job.
* Using the wholesaler portal to generate a supplier quote for the parts required.
* Generating a draft quotation in the finance system.
* Completing proforma reports to illustrate estimated energy generation and customer financial benefit.

The successful Surveyor will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience working in a customer-facing environment, having direct contact with the customer.
* Great customer service skills
* Strong sales acumen
* Experience working with solar panels and battery storage Desirable.

* High level of product knowledge.
* Using costing spreadsheets to build a quote
Training
Your training and induction will be carried out remotely, you will be educated in the:
CRM software for processing orders
Design software for designing PV projects
Sales and presentation skills
You must demonstrate the following personal qualities.
Effective communication skills
Strong sense of customer satisfaction
Technical knowledge
Experience or strong interest in sales
Team player
Accurate
Planning and organising skills
IT Skills (MS Office, Outlook)
Full UK driving license.
