Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the education and development of young minds? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a primary school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will work closely with a Year 1 class, providing crucial support to students, including those with additional needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with additional needs and SEN.
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to enhance the overall well-being of the students.
Support classroom activities, helping to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Maintain open communication with both teaching staff and parents regarding student progress.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs and SEN, is highly desirable.
Ideally holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, but experience will be considered as a valuable alternative.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
