Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant. Who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities SEND) to start in January. My client is a main stream primary school who have a high level of children with special needs that they support.

The role is working full time 8.30-4pm Monday -Friday

Daily pay rate from £76-£100 per day depending on experience.

The successful teaching assistant will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment

Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)

Challenging Behaviour

Epilepsy

Global Development Delay (GDD)

Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)

Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)

Speech and Language Disorder

Severe learning difficulties
