The Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of AEUK's projects and products. Your primary focus will be on technical excellence, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency. You will establish and nurture close working relationships between our design and engineering teams, Project Managers, SDAs, and production and procurement departments to ensure the successful planning and execution of our projects and product developments.

What You Bring

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Specialized engineering knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Electronics, or Software.
Experience implementing engineering lifecycles and robust system engineering processes within a product development environment.
Proficiency in planning and leading engineering work-packages and delivery projects.
A proven track record in leading engineering design activities and providing engineering support throughout the design, test, and acceptance phases.
The ability to lead the technical concept development of innovative solutions to meet challenging technical requirements.
Skills in generating design specifications and technical procurement specifications.
Expertise in documenting the design process, including demonstrating the verification of system requirements.
A solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
Technical management delivery experience as a supplier/integrator, with knowledge of estimation, costing, pricing, contract, tender, and bid processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write bids and technical reports.
