Job summary
We are looking for a Cabinet Maker to join our client's team in Swindon. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing setting. We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and hardworking. You will be accountable for the quality, quantity and workmanship of all products produced in the Cabinet Shop.Cabinet Maker Responsibilities:
* Check all sizes and designs are correct as per the paperwork and the accuracy of the quantity of the product being passed onto the next process.
* The Production Schedule must be followed as your part in achieving the agreed delivery date and agreed OTIF (On Time In Full) levels.
* Ensure all our stringent quality standards are met and followed at all times by following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and drawings supplied.
* Resolve any deficiencies to supply a customer order raising anything that you cant solve yourself with your Team Leader as appropriate.
* Progress any rectification work necessary to complete the customers order.
* Raise potential improvements to the Processes and Procedures so these can be reviewed and appraised to ensure that they are the most appropriate and cost effective.
* Maintain and improve upon the Company quality standards.
* Maintain a safe, tidy and effective working area
* Ensure that the Company Health and Safety policy is adhered to at all times.
* Any other reasonable tasks as requested.
Cabinet Maker Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting or equivalent combination of training and experience
Cabinet Maker Other Details
* Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30
* £12.00 - £14.00 per hour, dependant on experience
