Job summary

Pump Engineer required for our client, a Wilshire-based Water & Wastewater engineering specialist. Our client is currently expanding their business and looking for an experienced Pump Engineer to join their team and complete servicing and maintenance on a range of sewage treatment plants, pumps, booster sets, and pressurisation units across parts of Wiltshire and Hampshire.

The successful Pump Engineer will have a strong background in water engineering, with previous experience completing service, maintenance, and repairs on a range of pumps, motors, and water/sewage treatment equipment.

Due to the location of the work, the ideal candidate will be based within a 1-hour commute of Salisbury, and must be happy to travel across Wiltshire and Hampshire. The majority of the work will be based within the private/residential water industry, completing service/repair on sewage treatment plants and pumping stations on rural residential properties and agricultural locations.

Pump Engineer Position Requirements

Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering background, with specific experience working on pumps/motors previously
Based within a 1 hour commute of Salisbury
Full UK Driving Licence
17th/18th Edition qualification desirable

Pump Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £36,000 - £41,000
Company van provided
29 day's holiday (21 + Bank Holiday's)
7am - 5pm working hours
1 in 6 weekend on call rota, with retainer and overtime rate paid for any jobs
