Are you a whizz on hydraulics? Do you thrive under pressure? Then this could be the perfect role for you!Our Global manufacturing client based in Southam, Warwickshire are looking to recruit a permanent Hydraulic Assembly / Test Technician.
Benefits:
Private Medical Insurance after successful completion of a 6 month probationary period
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
Monday to Thursday 8:30 - 17:00 and Friday 8:30 - 16:00
Discretionary annual bonus
31 Days holiday (Inclusive of bank holidays)
Sickness - discretionary company sick - full pay for the 12 weeks, followed by 50% of pay for a further 12 weeks per year after successful completion of a 6 month probationary period

The role:
In the position of Hydraulic Assembly / Test Technician you will contribute to the efficiency and profitability of our clients business by ensuring that goods are assembled and tested correctly and conform to their respective drawings and test procedures, the ISO9001:2008 quality procedures and company standards.
You will prepare parts for testing by populating with hydraulic fittings, connecting hoses, gauges and other equipment. Perform hydraulic testing to test procedures or hydraulic schematics using test rigs provided.
Responsibilities:
Test cartridge valves and hydraulic manifold assemblies using the test rigs provided to test procedures and hydraulic circuits
Clean parts with equipment provided, ensure parts are free from defects and contamination.
Assemble parts to drawings provided, including the assembly of cartridge valves and hydraulic manifold assemblies. To include the fitting of small intricate components - through to large and heavy components.
Paint engravings on machined parts with paint and equipment provided.
Complete relevant labels and paperwork
Delivering/collecting parts from customers/suppliers as and when required.
Data entry using a Sage 200 system
Light warehouse duties, including the preparation of parts for processing at external supplier
Keeping the production area clean and tidy with good housekeeping
Attend training courses when requested and maintain knowledge and skills required for your duties, including product training, visiting the parent company facilities in Switzerland if requested
Requirements:
Experience of Hydraulic testing
Experience with hydraulic couplings, hoses and components
Knowledge of Hydraulic drawings and circuits
Use of gauges and Quality Procedures ISO9001:2008
Quality control
Read and understand assembly drawings and test instructions
Forklift licence desirable but not essential
Conscientious, methodical, organised and tidy
Flexible in approach and able to use initiative
Good communication and team player
Effective interpretation of instructions
Adaptable and capable of managing changing priorities and tasks
