The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join a forward-thinking, fun and modern custom clothing company in Burgess Hill. Working as part of a small and friendly production team, this role will be responsible for a variety of tasks from unloading stocking, printing on to clothing, to labeling and packing finished goods.
Supporting screen print and embroidery operations by using state of the art equipment and machinery.
Cutting, weeding and pressing heat pressed vinyl.
Preparing and cleaning screens for use.
Labelling and packing of goods.
Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
Keeping an impeccably clean working environment.
Accurately checking stock against paperwork, stacking garments ahead of being decorated
Quality control accountability maintaining high standards
Requirements
We would expect the successful Production Operative to be a positive candidate who has a "can do" working style. Some experience of working in warehousing or production would be useful, and you will be comfortable working in a busy manual role. You will be committed to working with high attention to detail and in an efficient manner.
You will need to be happy committing to a fixed term contract, however, there could be scope for a permanent position in the future.
