Hunter Masons Client
Our client is a specialist commercial glazing company within the construction and building management markets - designing, fabricating, installing, and maintaining glazing products. They are now looking for an estimator, with facades or curtainwall experience to join their ever expanding team.
Information on the role:
* Manage accurate records of tender and contract documents
* Prepare detailed bills of quantities and work schedules for accurate pricing
* Compile tender comparisons and consideration
* Present tenders at settlement meetings with a comprehensive knowledge of the best approach to be taken
* Offer advice on risk and value engineering options
* Work closely with supply chains to ensure competitive tenders
* Contribute to database tenders for historical data and average rates and supply chain databases
* Develop relationships with consultants and clients
* Maximise efficiency of services, utilising all resources in conjunction with the Project Managers, and identity problems, taking the relevant action to resolve them
What wed like from you:
* Experience Estimating projects across a variety of sectors, including the Education, Healthcare, Domestic, Heritage, Commercial, Leisure, & Retail sectors
* Facades/ Curtainwall experience
* Exceptional written and spoken English skills
* Self-motivated personality
* Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
* Organisation and time management skills
* Trimble experience would be advantageous
