Job Title: Highways Foreman

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £40,000 per annum + £4,000 Car Allowance

Are you an experienced and highly motivated Highways Foreman looking for a new opportunity in the Newcastle area? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our highway construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage highway construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate and supervise a team of skilled workers and subcontractors to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on site, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues.
Maintain accurate records, including site reports, timesheets, and equipment inventory.
Assist in the planning and scheduling of project tasks, materials, and resources.

Requirements:

·SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certification.
·CSCS Gold Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) or equivalent.
·Temp Works Supervisor qualification.
·Safety-Critical Medical certification.
·Proven experience as a Highways Foreman or similar role.
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Good understanding of highway construction processes and best practices.
·A valid driving license.
